The Arrowcat 30 was designed by Roger
Hill Yacht Design of New Zealand, known for designing power catamarans
for the rough seas of New Zealand. Arrowcat 30 is designed for
multiple missions - it can be used as a serious fishing machine, with
its spacious cockpit, insulated fishbox storage and swim platform. - an
outdoor entertainment boat - for snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming. -
an overnight home - with sleeping accommodation for 6 adults, good-sized
galley, toilet and shower with standing headroom.
As you can see from the photo below, the helm station
offers 360 degree view visibility not only for the helmsman, but also
for passengers in the dinette or galley area.
The interior is both elegant and practical with its acrylic countertops
and cherry wood cabinetry. Of durable construction, the hull is made
with 22 layers of hand glassed fiberglass according to DNV/Lloyds
specifications. Like everything else, the bulk of the
assembly labor is outsourced to China. While the boat is assembled in China, the
materials used are mostly of US and European manufacture.
The Arrowcat 30 is an ideal day boat for entertaining and reefing adventures.
It can also be used for occasional weekend trips. Fast, efficient, stable, it offers passengers a dry and comfortable
ride.
