Nomad,
a 228 ft luxury motor yacht was the boat featured in the movie Killers.
Story line goes like this: After a
break-up with a boyfriend, an overly cautious Jennifer "Jen" Kornfeldt
(Katherine Heigl) travels to Nice with her parents (Tom Selleck and
Catherine O'Hara). While going into an elevator to go to her hotel room,
she meets Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher). Spencer asks her to dinner and
she accepts. The scene then changes to Spencer sneaking onto a boat,
putting a time bomb on the bottom of a helicopter, then taking out a
guard. He then swims back and goes on the date with Jen. (Photo on left
shows Spencer (Ashton Kutcher) getting out of the boat through the
anchor hawsepipe by grabbing hold of the anchor chain.
Luxury motor yacht NOMAD (ex Floridian and Aussie Rules) was built in
2003 by OceanFast, has undergone a superb refit in mid 2005. Luxury
yacht NOMAD has been beautifully designed for long range exploration and
comfortable cruising. She is one of the most impressive and famous
yachts available and is the largest aluminum luxury motor yacht in the
world and she offers a massive collection of toys, tenders, fishing and
dive equipment. You can also have the utmost fun aboard in her swimming
pool, wet bar or cinema. Rarely does a yacht offer everything like M/Y
NOMAD does - in terms of state-of-the-art functionality, equipment and
amenities, whilst also featuring internal and external beauty in design
and styling.
For those enthusiastic to
see the interiors of this yacht, here are some photos. |
