It is big enough to have some basic luxuries but small enough to still be easily handled by a cruising couple without a crew.  With a cruising range of over 3,000 nautical miles, the Nordhavn 47 provides self sufficiency as well as comfort and luxury.  The optional watermaker runs off 24V and is capable of making 100 liters of fresh water every hour.  Power can be obtained from a generator that can service a full size washing machine and tumble dryer.
