Mid-way up Dean Channel lies Eucott Bay, a well protected anchorage with good shelter, awesome scenery. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glaciers, this could easily be set in Banff National Park. Right by the shore is an odorless hot springs encased by natural boulders and concrete slabs put together by the natives. The tub can easily hold up to 10 people. A very secluded place, there are usually no one in sight. The water temperature on the tuub is completely adjustable and only takes minutes to completely heat up or cool down. The trail is easy and beautiful. Across the tub on the shoreline across is a grassy meadow, where bears can be spotted feeding on salmon. Just like a private performance for your eyes only. |
