Oleo's Floating Restaurant -  Frederick Arm's floating marina
 

Located about 3/4 mile on the east shore of Frederick Arm, behind a tiny little island is Oleo's Floating Restaurant and Marina.    A good landmark is the salmon farm in front of the island.   The marina/restaurant  is run by Ruth Montoya and her husband Leon for a number of years.  Leon passed away in 2005, now Ruth runs the place with the help of her son Tony Montoya.  The floating marina can accommodate four boats and more if rafted and 10 for dinner.  Advance reservation is required by phoning (250) 203-6670.  Portions are huge.  One meal price includes salad, main course and dessert.  Bring your own wine.
