San Carlos is a beautiful little beach town just 4 hours south of Nogales, Arizona.   The topography of San Carlos has been described as Sedona on the Beach.

Marina San Carlos is conveniently located 5 hours south of the American border by car.  There is a  four lane highway to San Carlos from Nogales, Arizona  and the highway is well paved and easily traveled. A checkpoint at kilometer 21 in the state of Sonora is the Mexican Customs and Immigration, where you will be asked to show your passport or birth certificate and photo ID.  Simply continue through Hermosillo to Guaymas and take the San Carlos exit.

There are direct flights from Phoenix, Arizona to Guaymas through Aero Mexico and American West.  The Marina San Carlos is 10 miles from Guaymas airport.
