RSYC Marina belongs to The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club, (which was founded in 1826 having Sir Stamford Raffles as one of its earliest members). While the yacht club has a long history, it has a state-of-the-art marina (built in 1999) with 168 wet berths, including a 140-metre long mega yacht berth, and 135 dry berths, all ready and able to accommodate international guests. The location of the new club, close to both the Central Business District and the Southern Islands boating grounds, offers convenience to the cruising sailors with quick access to port clearance, immigration as well as Singapore's tourist spots
