Designed by Robert Perry, all Valiant sailboats use the same basic concepts of a cutter rig, modified fin keel, skeg rudder, and canoe stern which have become the Valiant trademark. Valiant yachts - noted for their sailing performance, quality construction, safety and comfort at sea - have been popular among cruising sailors for offshore voyages.
The Valiant 50 evolved from the Valiant 47 with a sail plan change (mast moved forward) and the addition of an anchor bowsprit. Valiant 50 offers customers the ability to customize thereby personalizing each boat to suit the owner's individual needs and tastes.
