History:
Alliaura Marine was founded in 1996 by SGGR Holdings of France, when it bought out Jeantot Marine, the originator of the very successful Privilege luxury power catamarans. 

In 1998, Alliaura Marine introduced the TransCat line of power catamarans.
In 2000, it bought out Kirie, the originator of the Feelings line of monohull sailboats and J Composites, the originator of J Boats.
