History:
Based in Slovenia, Elan Yachts started its first sailboat the Elan 295, designed for the Adriatic Sea.  It followed with the Elan 333, 40 and the 37 which set the course for Elan Yachts.  The first few Elan designs were more of the racing type.  Elan recently introduced the Impressions line of pure cruising yachts, Impressions 344, 384 and the 514 which quickly gained popularity.

Several Elan boats are used in charter fleets based in Croatia.

The Elan Impression 344 won the 2006 European Yacht of the Year Award
The Elan Impression 340 won the 2007 European Yacht of the Year Award.
