Laminated triplets (where a slice of opal is used and a laminate added) is less expensive, while whole opal stones cost more. Shopping for an expensive jewellery at cruise ship stops can be very high pressure. Some women would prefer the leisure of time and shopping for different options.

Thanks for the gesture. I would really prefer to leisurely select my own opal ring and make sure that the design fits nicely on my finger.
Canada has all the nice jewelery one can possibly want.
Just come home and let’s make it an adventure finding a ring for me.
Be sure to bring me some knicky knacky though.
